This project is a recreation of a Qajar-era mansion’s interior in the heart of the Yazd desert. The main focus is on the “Shahneshin” grand hall, featuring high vaulted ceilings with traditional Yazdi-bandi plasterwork, wooden Orosi windows with handmade stained glass, and a central marble pool. The sunlight filtering through the stained glass creates a beautiful play of colors on the handwoven Kashan silk carpets.
